July 2007

v      JAI MA !!! The Shala is OPEN!  Thank You to all who have helped. Regular classes began on July 2.  Finish work is still in process but the Shala is fully functional for classes and absolutely beautiful. The first visiting retreatants were totally inspired!

June 2007

v      Shakti Sharanam WILL be completed this summer! Since the last update, about half of what is needed has come in, and an extension on the construction loan has been approved. This means that there is another month to raise the remaining $15,000 of what could not be included in the loan, and that future donations will not be at risk. Please consider joining those who have already helped!

v      We have broken ground!  Fill and excavation starting!

v      The benefit in Denver on June 9 was a beautiful event, filled with music, food, dance and auction.  Victoria Hoffman of Telluride won the raffle for a Yoga Weekend at Shakti Sharanam.  Congratulations Victoria!!  Thank you to the many people who donated their time, effort, auction items and love to make this an awesome event!!
